PDF-XChange Viewer is a free alternative to Adobe Reader. Allow markups to documents.

Q-Dir is a dual (or quad) pane Explorer replacement.

Karen's Directory Printer is a useful tool for printing folder contents. After installing, replace the DirPrn.exe file with this one (DirPrn.exe). It includes updates to remember the last tab opened and adds an option to print without the print dialog showing.

Notepad++ is a replacement for Notepad. Allows multiple documents to be open at the same time. Search and replace across multiple files.

MyDefrag is a good hard disk defragmenter. Can be used as a screensaver to perform daily defragmentation.

Free DWG Viewer from Brava is much faster loading drawings than AutoCAD or TrueView.

SUMo automatically checks for new versions of most programs by checking them against other SUMo users. Download the Lite version which does not contain RK spyware.

Easy Capture is an easy-to-use screen capture program. Allows all the usual capture full screen, rectangular region and window. Save to file (including automatically), plus has a built in editor to markup captures.

Avast! Free Antivirus is a free real time antivirus program.

Proxy Switcher is a small tray icon utility that allows automatic detection of whether Windows and Mozilla Firefox should use a proxy server for Internet access. Great for switching between office and home networks.

Mz CPU Accelerator is an application that automatically changes the priority of the foreground window, by allocating more CPU power to the currently active application (program-game). Automatically de-allocates CPU priority when a new active application is selected.
